Spray Millet is not the junk food sometimes reported! It is a nutritious addition to any grassland parrots diet. It is also a great first food for baby or young birds, in times of stress or injury, and as a treat. Spray Millet can also be served soaked, sprouted or even grown in your garden! We carry 3 types of spray millet, and it is good practice to rotate your brands as they are grown in different soils, and thus... different nutrients. This millet has a darker, tighter look than the California Millet (currently out of stock as the last crop was poor quality), which has light and loose heads. Higgins is more similar in style to Midwest Millet. *** Sold from Bulk, and only intact sprays are bagged by the pound unless a 25 lb box as noted.
