It is believed that this is due to little knowledge of their habitat, feeding and breeding preferences in the wild. Eddie's Aviary spent 5 years developing this mix, and it brought them to huge exhibitor wins on the show bench, vigor in their pets, and unsurpassed breeding success. This feed is so diverse, with more than 50 ingredients, it not only covers a large part of their nutritional needs, but it also offers your bird a fun foraging activity as he/she explores their bowl each day.

We offer a couple tablespoons per bird daily, as well as a bowl of Bird Salad so the birds can “self-medicate” and stave off minor illnesses and ailments (not intended to replace vet care), a teaspoon of bee pollen, and rotate daily in a “surprise bowl” between oat groats, hemp, sprouts, fresh chop, or a cooked mash. This keeps them from boredom of their “caged bird diet” and makes sure they are getting the nutrition they need to thrive. Nothing feels better than that!
